Installed at the floor at the garage door opening. Magnet installs on the door. The wide 2"gap contact assures closure. Always test the contact in place before mounting. The contact will withstand a vehicle running over it, but always try to mount it out of the range of traffic. Use anchors into the floor whenever possible. The cable from the contact is amoured. Please try to make your electrical connection in a small electrical box nearby. A romex connector will capture the amoured cable for a neat and safe installation.
